Another very hot day saw us entertain Phoenix at Kempton on Sunday.
Batting first we looked in good position to post a large total as Ellis Miah (31), Billy Aziz (22) James Dart (38) & Trevor Warne (37) got us into a strong position at 124-2 with 13 overs left but thereafter the innings stalled and fell away badly and out final total of 155-9 off 40 overs looked somewhat inadequate.
If we to get back inn the game we needed early wickets and although wickets did come they failed to arrive quickly enough and Phoenix we able to reach their target with 5 wickets down and 6 overs to spare.
